Guillaume Polaillon

Broadcast Industry Product Manager @ NVIDIA
Guillaume Polaillon leads product management for Professional Broadcast at NVIDIA. With over 20 years of experience in technology and innovation, he works with developers, inventors, and engineers to transform their vision into groundbreaking solutions. His expertise lies in GPU acceleration for advanced graphics, compute, and artificial intelligence, as well as accelerating the transition to IP-based broadcast for live production.

 

Laura Ellis 

Head of technology broadcasting @ BBC
I am an experienced leader and former BBC News journalist with a focus on emerging technology, machine learning, synthetic media and content integrity. My specialist area is AI - everything from understanding the increasingly complex speedy twists and turns in the generative space, to its deployment in journalism and the creative industries, policy, governance, leadership, education and the information literacy we urgently need to build around it. 

 

Ross Dagan 

Executive vice president and head of news operations and transformation @ CBS News and Stations
Veteran global news executive Ross Dagan is executive vice president and head of news operations and transformation for CBS News and Stations. In this senior leadership role, Dagan oversees all the news operations, engineering and technology functions across CBS News and Stations, reporting to Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures.

 

Kjersti Løken Stavrum 

CEO @ Tinius Trust.
Kjersti Løken Stavrum leads the jury for the Anne Jacobsen Memorial Prize. A journalist and editor by background, she is CEO of Tinius Trust, the controlling owner of Schibsted ASA. She has chaired Norwegian PEN, led Norway's Freedom of Expression Commission, and served as secretary general of the Norwegian Press Association. She holds a political science degree and a master's in management.

 

Ezra Eeman

Director of Strategy & Innovation @ NPO.
Ezra has almost 20 years of experience in media, innovation and journalism. Previously he was Change Director at international media company Mediahuis, responsible for coordinating newsroom transformation and digital acceleration. He worked as the Head of Digital, Transformation and Platforms at the EBU, The European Broadcasting Union and before that was head of an innovation lab and journalist at VRT, the Flemish public broadcaster.

Pål Nedregotten 

Heads technology and product development at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation @ NRK.
With 30 years of expertise at the intersection of journalism and technology, he previously served as EVP Data and Technology at Amedia, Norway’s largest publisher. He’s also been chair at the Norwegian Media Business Association.
 

 

 

Annsofi Eriksson

CIO & Director of Technology @ Swedish Radio
Annsofi Eriksson has more than 20 years of experience from IT-leadership within large national and multinational companies spanning across different industries. Annsofi is passionate about technology transformation and the interaction between human and technology. 

 

Ole Jacob Sunde

Chair @ Tinius Trust & The Scott Trust
Ole Jacob Sunde is a long-time entrepreneur and founder of Formue, a leading Scandinavian wealth management firm. He has been closely associated with Schibsted Media Group for over 30 years, serving as Chair of the Board from 2002 to 2022. Sunde also invests in start-ups, supports initiatives linked to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and serves on the Board of Visitors at Columbia University’s School of Journalism. 


Aino Olsen 

CIO/CTO @ Danmarks Radio (DR) 

Aino leads the development of digital products and technological infrastructure at DR. She has extensive experience from senior roles in the Danish government, including the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Taxation. Aino also serves on the Danish Government IT Council and sits on the board of Udbetaling Danmark.

 

Janne Yli-Äyhö 

CTO/CIO @ Yle
Janne Yli-Äyhö has extensive senior management experience in IT, telecom, and broadcasting. He serves as CTO/CIO of Yle, Finland's national public media company. Previously, he held senior roles at TeliaSonera in Finland and the Nordics. A business and technology developer, Janne studied industrial management at Helsinki University of Technology and completed courses at top international universities.

 

Belenn Rebecka Bekele

Program Manager @ IN/LAB
Belenn Rebecka Bekele is a Program Manager at IN/LAB, a joint innovation lab by Schibsted and the Tinius Trust. Her work focuses on exploring co-creation methods to better understand and reach young people, particularly those who consume and trust news to a very limited extent.

 

 

Rowan de Pomerai

CEO @ DPP
Rowan de Pomerai, CEO of the DPP, brings broad experience in broadcast, production, streaming, and software. He joined the DPP in 2018, spending several years as the CTO, and became CEO in 2024. He now leads the leading association for media and technology, providing valuable insights and connections to over 500 member companies around the world through events, collaboration, research and analysis. 

 

Fredric Karén

EVP Sweden @ Schibsted
Fredric Karén, with 30 years in media across Sweden and Canada, has held leadership roles at Schibsted for 20 years, including CEO of Svenska Dagbladet. He has driven Schibsted’s shift from print to digital and now oversees Swedish news brands like SvD, Aftonbladet, and Omni as part of Schibsted’s Group Executive Team, contributing to negotiations with OpenAI.

 

Nina Feinberg

Product Designer @ The New York Times
Nina Feinberg is a lead product designer at The New York Times, where she has worked for the last 12 years. She worked previously as a digital editor at McGraw-Hill Education and earned a degree in Media Studies from Vassar College. In her free time, Nina enjoys running (she has completed three New York City Marathons), writing short fiction, and exploring Brooklyn with her dog Agnes.

 

Tony Pastor

Co-founder @ Goalhanger
Tony Pastor is the co-founder of Goalhanger, known for podcasts such as The Rest is Politics, The Rest is History and The Rest is Football. He has a background from both the BBC and ITV, before founding Goalhanger with Gary Lineker in 2013.  

 

 

Jakob Rosinski

Principal Solutions Architect @ AWS
With 18 years of cross-European project experience, Mr. Rosinski has established himself as an expert in media archive management and workflow automation. In 2020, he was honored with a personal "Technical Emmy Award" for his contributions to the field. Beyond his technical prowess, he is a respected thought leader who actively shapes industry dialogue through public speaking, technical whitepaper authorship, and strategic panel participation across the European media technology sector.

 

Kevin Savina

Partner Strategy Lead for the Media & Entertainment, Games and Sports (MEGS) vertical for the EMEA region @ AWS

Kevin joined AWS in late 2020, and prior to that he has a 20+ year background in working for a technology company providing software solutions to media companies in Media Asset Management, News, Sports and Radio where he held a number of roles including driving Product Strategy for 8 years. 

 

Christian Birkeland

Chief Digital Officer @ TV 2
He joined TV 2 in 2017, after serving as CEO of RiksTV. Previously, he worked for many years at the consultancy Accenture as a technology advisor and industry specialist in telecom, media, and entertainment. Birkeland holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from NTNU. He is also the chair of "SFI MediaFutures," serves on several boards, and advocates for product organization, agile methods, and digital transformation.

 

Pål Grønås Drange

Associate Professor @ UiB
Pål Grønås Drange is an associate professor at the University of Bergen, specializing in the intersection of AI, algorithms and network theory. He loves making tricky and complex concepts understandable, and has won a prize for his work to communicate the field to the public

 

Hilde Sandvik

Deputy Chair of the board @ Amedia
Hilde Sandvik is the founder and the "Norwegian" in the podcast and radio program Norsken, svensken og dansken, which airs weekly on NRK, SR, and DR. She serves as the deputy chair of the board of Amedia and is a board member of the Amedia Foundation. She is also one of the initiators of Nord 55. Sandvik is a frequently sought-after moderator and conference host. She is a former culture editor at Bergens Tidende and an author of several books.

  

Juan Carlos Lopez Calvet 

Director of Data & AI @ Schibsted News Media
Juan Carlos, Director of Data and AI at Schibsted Media, drives innovation in journalism through AI and data-driven strategies. With over 20 years in tech, he leverages data to shape business decisions, fuel growth, and create opportunities in digital media. His leadership has advanced AI's role in delivering smarter, personalized experiences to millions of readers.

 

Nathan Freitas

Founder & Director @ Guardian Project
Nathan is the founder and director of Guardian Project, an award-winning open-source mobile security initiative with millions of users. Guardian Project has worked with WITNESS for nearly 15 years on Smart Camera solutions using metadata, digital signing, notaries, and verification tools to combat misinformation and support human rights. This work is realized through Proofmode.org applications and the C2PA standard, enabling tracing of media origins. 

 

Liv-Jorun Håker 

The Future Week Host & Development Editor at Sunnmørsposten 
With a background in design and a track record of award-winning investigative and data journalism. She currently leads the newspaper’s work on artificial intelligence, collaborating with developers, journalists, and technologists across Polaris Media. Passionate about exploring new tools and formats in journalism, Liv-Jorunn also loves being on stage, usually as a singer, but this time as a host at Future Week.
